Maven Presentations at JavaOne

There are three Maven presentations at JavaOne. I'll be giving two presentations in the Oracle section of the JavaOne Pavillion, and Jason van Zyl is going to give a BOF session on Maven 2.

My presentation is entitled "Project Automation and Management with Apache Maven", and I will emphasize some practical steps you can take to move your projects to Maven as a build and project managment platform. The talk will last for a half hour, and I'm leaving ample time for question and answer. This presentation is the launch of "Maven: A Developer's Notebook", and attendees will have the opportunity to enter a drawing for 10 copies of our book at each session. In other words, you might just walk away with a free book. Here's the schedule, hope to see you there:

  • "Project Automation and Management with Apache Maven" in the Oracle Section of the JavaOne Pavillion, Moscone Center, San Francisco
    • Monday, June 27th at 6:30 PM
    • Tuesday, June 28th at 11:30 AM
Send me an email if you'd like to ask a question in advance, and bring a business card if you would like to enter the drawing.

To be sure, Jason van Zyl's BOF session is not to be missed. Jason is also going to provide an overview of Maven, and demonstrate some of the compelling features of Maven 2. For those of you who are interested, Jason's BOF session id is "BOF-9330". I'll post another item when I know what time Jason is presenting. Jason is the authoritative source for Maven information, and this is a rare opportunity to hear about Maven from the master.
